Text by Robert Myriel. “The Charm of Love” is a narrative about an old gypsy who is often mocked and laughed at, but visits homes in the evening trying to entice young men and women to buy her potions and/or spells to fall in love. The gypsy promises that the person under the spell will open their arms for them and love and kisses will bloom on their lips.
